Keeping Our Camps Safe, Healthy and Fun
Camp Invention® has always maintained the highest health and safety standards while providing innovative, inspiring experiences. Through the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain committed to providing safe learning environments led by certified educators and backed by policies you can trust.
Healthy Habits*
-
Masking Up: All campers and Program Team Members bring their own masks to camp and wear them properly to protect themselves and others.
-
Washing Hands: Campers wash their hands when they arrive, as needed throughout the day and before they leave. Hand sanitizer is also provided.
-
Social Distancing: All spaces at camp are set up to ensure children and Program Team Members remain apart. Signage and floor markings also are used to reinforce safe social distancing.
-
Reducing Risks: Campers and Program Team Members must stay home if they have symptoms of COVID-19, and everyone entering the program location must complete a daily health screening. To learn more about how we’re reducing risks, please read our Preparedness Plan.
Safe Routines*
-
Picking Up and Dropping Off: Each day, a Program Team Member signs campers in and out, accompanying them to and from the building while safely wearing their personal protective equipment (PPE).
-
Cleaning Up and Airing Out: Frequently touched surfaces (doors, sinks, etc.) are cleaned and disinfected at least daily and between uses when possible. We also ensure ventilation systems are working properly and make efforts to increase the circulation of outdoor air.
-
Keeping Items Separate: We keep sharing to a minimum, making sure each child’s belongings are kept apart from others’ and placed in individually provided bags. All materials are cleaned and disinfected between uses.
-
Enjoying Lunchtime: Children eat lunch in classrooms or outdoors while maintaining social distancing. Tables or desks are sanitized before lunch, and children wash their hands both before and after eating.
Peace of Mind
-
In-Person AND At-Home Options: For greater accessibility and convenience, we built our all-new 2022 program to provide options that work for your family. Whether you choose our traditional in-person camp or our at-home Camp Invention Connect® program, your child will enjoy high-energy, hands-on STEM activities, collaboration and opportunities for outdoor fun.
-
True Flexibility: As the past couple of years have shown us all, plans can change. We know flexibility is essential, so if you sign up for an in-person camp and later decide an at-home experience would be better for you and your child, that’s no problem! Our Camp Invention Connect programs run throughout the summer, so as long as there are spots available, we can help you change your plans before your camp start date.
-
Program Cancellation: We do everything possible to ensure each program runs, but if for any reason we must cancel your program, we will notify you as soon as possible. You will have the option to receive a full refund, or your child can join another available program.
Simple Payment Policies
-
Payment Plan: You can choose our installment payment plan if you use a credit or debit card to register at least 10 weeks before your camp start date. It’s simple — one-third of your program cost is charged when you register, and the balance is divided into two equal payments charged automatically to your credit or debit card at approximately 30 and 60 days after your initial deposit.
-
Cancellation Insurance: You can purchase cancellation insurance at the time of registration for an additional $25 per camper. If you need to cancel, this will cover the registration cost, minus the insurance fee and any applicable materials that must be returned unopened.
-
Refunds: If you choose to cancel your registration and did not purchase cancellation insurance, you can receive a refund minus a $75 registration fee until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the Sunday three weeks prior to the start date of your program.
