Engaging Students Through Instilling the I Can Invent Mindset
Join us Tuesday, April 9 at 4 p.m. EST for this lively and fun virtual workshop where you will learn about invention education and how to use it to engage, inspire and empower your students in the classroom. You will be encouraged to participate through thoughtful reflection, purposeful dialogue and opportunities for collaboration where creativity, divergent thoughts and ideas are welcome. During this interactive, one-hour workshop, you will:
- Learn how invention education works and why it’s important
- Explore the I Can Invent® Mindset and connect it to your classroom with strategies to engage, inspire and empower your students
- Engage in a hands-on learning experience using materials you’ve gathered (a list of items will be provided)
- Learn concrete approaches for creating a learning environment where children become capable protagonists of their own learning
- Take away actionable strategies you can use in any content area to ignite students’ curiosity and problem-solving abilities through invention education and STEM
