Every year, Earth Day gives young conservationists and environmentalists a chance to celebrate Earth, practice new forms of sustainability and connect with nature. From eco-conscious conversations about conserving energy at home to volunteering in local community spaces, educating the next generation of entrepreneurs, innovators and thought leaders is a great start to cultivate a meaningful Earth Day.
As the saying goes, Earth Day is every day! In fact, you can practice eco-friendly habits all summer long. Read on to find four ways to celebrate Earth Day with kids and kickstart an eco-friendly summer.
1. Celebrate Role Models Who Protect the Planet

2. Volunteer for Local Cleanups or Recycle at Home
Research local groups that want to keep your community vibrant and clean. When you join as a volunteer, you’ll see how much of a difference a team effort makes at your cleanup event. This Earth Day, you also can consider collecting recyclable materials, from cans to plastic bottles. No matter where you choose to tidy up or recycle, every effort counts!
3. Read a Book Celebrating Earth
