Celebrating Innovation at CES

Behind the NIHF Scenes

CES® is known as the Global Stage for Innovation. So there’s no better place for the National Inventors Hall of Fame® (NIHF) and the United States Patent and Trademark Office to make an exciting announcement.

Don’t miss the big reveal

On Tuesday, January 8 at 1:00 p.m. PST, we will be on the Engadget Stage at CES in Las Vegas to reveal our 2019 National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductee class.

This group of visionary men and women have advanced some of the world’s most groundbreaking and influential technologies. Each Inductee is a U.S. patent holder who has made a significant impact on society. By recognizing their legendary achievements, we can inspire the next generation of innovators.

Our list of new Inductees is kept entirely confidential until this big announcement is made at CES. You won’t want to miss it!

Join us for an inspiring conversation

In addition to revealing our 2019 Inductees, NIHF will also be participating in a panel with some of our very own, successful inventors who have helped to shape the tech industry and change our world for the better. These inventors will offer invaluable insight as they share their perspectives on the evolving tech landscape. The innovators joining us include NIHF Inductee and inventor of the Digital Camera, Steve Sasson; 2018 Collegiate Inventors Competition Graduate Gold prize winner and co-inventor of PionEar, Nicole Black; plus an exciting visit from a new 2019 NIHF Inductee whose contributions shaped the future of the technology and entertainment industries. Also joining the conversation is Under Secretary of Commerce for Intellectual Property and Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office, Andri Iancu.
