As your child prepares for a week of fun-filled exploration, we encourage you to invite classmates, neighbors or even family members.

1. Break the ice

Sometimes first-time Campers get a little nervous about trying something new, especially if they don’t know anyone else who will be there. Bringing a friend can make these worries disappear, and together, these friends can team up and build fun summer memories.

2. Double the fun

As the saying goes, two heads are better than one. Bringing a friend to camp doubles the creativity, excitement and fun.

3. Share the spirit of innovation

Just because your neighbors’ kids live and breathe sports doesn’t mean they won’t also love Camp Invention. Who knows, you might be living next door to the next Stan Honey, National Inventors Hall of Fame^® Inductee and inventor of the Virtual Yellow 1^st & Ten^® line.

4. Brush up on social skills

With kids missing out on in-person interactions during the school year, opportunities for socialization are more important than ever.
