Every year, our dedicated education team at the National Inventors Hall of Fame^® creates never-before-seen STEM experiences for K-6 campers. It’s the same trusted camp with brand-new experiences that has kept campers coming back since 1990.

Four Exciting New Adventures

During this summer’s four brand-new experiences, campers discover the versatility of STEM through action-packed, hands-on challenges. Tackling current trends in STEM, K-6 campers follow their curiosity and apply critical thinking in an epic new edition of summer exploration and problem solving.

Each camper will receive an updated Inventor Log filled with 20 new National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductee connections, nine areas where they can sketch their ideas, one Camp Invention patent application and so much more!

Illusion Workshop

Illusion Workshop^™ introduces children to National Inventors Hall of Fame Inductee and Disney Imagineer Lanny Smoot – the innovative role model behind many magical Disney experiences. As campers discover mesmerizing optical illusions and master the art of playing with perception, they ignite their curiosity and explore creative career paths in STEAM.

In Control

Campers head out on an innovative road trip for the perfect summer getaway. During In Control^™,  they’ll explore geography, discover artificial intelligence with Inductee Asad Madni, assemble a control panel, save baby birds and invent their way around unexpected detours.

Penguin Launch

In Penguin Launch^™, campers embark on an epic Antarctic expedition, chill out with penguins pals and waddle into robotic mechanics. When crafting an eco-message to send far and wide, they’ll play with physics to send their penguin pal soaring on a planet-saving mission.

Claw Arcade

In Claw Arcade^™ , campers customize their very own claw machines, grabbing inspiration from the animal kingdom’s talons, pincers and claws. Motivated by gripping tales from inventors of mechanical marvels, campers unlock their entrepreneurial spirit and put their creativity into action!

Four Imaginative Take-Home Items

Every year at camp, children create prototypes and dive into hands-on STEM projects as they are introduced to the world of engineering and design. Campers will tinker and explore with four brand-new, exclusive take-home items that demonstrate everything from physics and circuitry to magnetism and neuroscience! Personalized by your child, these four take-home items will help them continue the STEM fun at home!

Spin-o-scope^™: This rotating animation device unlocks the magic of illusions. With endless possibilities for drawing new animations on a series of cards and setting them spinning, your child will be excited to show you how they can bring their drawings to life!

Control Panel: Campers boost their confidence as they explore the science of circuitry with a control panel and wire their very own transmitter and receiver. This introduction to electrical engineering will even allow your camper to transmit Morse code clues!

Custom Magnetic Plushie: This summer, every camper will receive a custom magnetic penguin plushie. Pengy, your child’s adorable research assistant, will travel through Antarctica with your camper and inspire the solutions they come up with. With its magnetic feet and flippers, your camper can explore where Pengy will attach at home!

Claw Machine: Every camper will construct a functional cardboard claw machine filled with one-of-a-kind prizes! This custom arcade game will bring claw-some challenges throughout the summer as your child discovers new ways to have fun with STEM.
