For more than three decades, the National Inventors Hall of Fame^® has partnered with thousands of educators across the country to inspire students through the innovative programming of Camp Invention^®.

This acclaimed summer enrichment program brings joy and excitement to both teaching and learning. Camp Invention staff often tell us they love implementing each year’s brand-new, thoroughly tested curriculum, which is developed using credible research and directly informed by our Hall of Fame Inductees.

This turnkey program provides a step-by-step curriculum guide and all the materials each participant needs for a successful experience. For many educators, implementing our summer camp provides them the opportunity to creatively engage with students in ways not always possible during the academic year.

Stipends and CEUs

All educators who sign up to teach at Camp Invention receive a new increased stipend payable through direct deposit, a letter of recognition from the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and a certificate representing three CEUs.*

Support

The National Inventors Hall of Fame makes teaching at Camp Invention seamless by providing the program curriculum, complete materials packaged by day and module, helpful video tutorials, training and dedicated support. Each year’s brand-new program undergoes a 20-month testing and development process to ensure that educators have a hassle-free teaching experience.

Transferable Classroom Skills

Camp Invention includes transferable teaching strategies you can bring back to your classroom and use throughout the school year. Because Camp Invention authentically implements all components of the I Can Invent^™ Mindset, and provides job-embedded professional development, educators who teach the program can gain hands-on experience implementing curricula that embrace open-ended learning and creative problem solving.
