At the National Inventors Hall of Fame® (NIHF) part of our mission is to make STEM (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) education accessible to as many children as possible. To further this goal, we offer an Extended Day option at Camp Invention® sites.
What is Extended Day?
Camp Invention sites offering an Extended Day program provide additional hours in the morning and afternoon to meet the needs of working parents. Additional features for these sites include:
- Convenient Hours – These programs typically run from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and better align with the schedules of busy families.
- Even More Innovation– Each day features additional innovative activities that encourage them to use their imaginations and build creative thinking skills.
- Momentum– Extended Day builds on the lessons of the traditional program, and children are excited to both kick-start and complete each day with even more engaging, hands-on activities.
