Free Opportunity: Professional Development Workshop for Educators

The National Inventors Hall of Fame® (NIHF) is hosting Innovation Day – a hands-on professional development workshop for educators in the San Jose, California area. Our one-day event will be held at the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and will focus on inquiry-based learning. The day consists of a packed schedule including:

  • Keynote presentation by 2018 NIHF Inductee Arogyaswami Paulraj, inventor of MIMO Wireless Technology
  • Keynote presentation by a team of 2018 Collegiate Inventors Competition® finalists from the University of California, Berkeley
  • Hands-on activities inspired by real-world inventors 
  • Practical strategies that transform learning
  • Exploration of design thinking, creative problem solving, entrepreneurship and student-led learning
